LOUDDISH began as an Instagram page for my humble pottery work in 2022. Back then, LOUDDISH was a play on words for the slightly bold, but understated pieces I made with my own two hands.

Now, LOUDDISH is a creative house for me to share my creations or finds - all of which are both bold and subtle, and serve them to the world with a quiet confidence. 

In July 2025, I left my job behind to go travelling and dig a bit deeper into what’s important to me. Turns out, the creative pillar of my life is feeling pretty nurtured — and this is how I'll keep that going.

I’ve always felt like sharing my work online, whether it’s pottery, writing or photography can feel a bit bold. A bit edgy. Sometimes even “too much”, given I’m not an expert in any of these. But all the good momentum I’ve felt in my life happens when I stop letting a pursuit of perfection get in the way of just making things happen. 

But ya know what lesson I keep coming back to? Feel the fear (usually of judgement and failure) and do it anyway.

Connection and inspiration are becoming harder to find in the lifestyles we live today, but expressing creativity feels like a continuous portal back to those feelings - for me and hopefully for anyone else who has their own goals and dreams.

I truly believe that we all have a creative spark in us. We just need to figure out how to let it burn.

For now I'm in my photography era, and I'm hoping to get back into pottery when it is more easily accessible to me. My partner and I have also been working on another lil side quest, which you'll find more about here soon.
